Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

1. Introduction

Discora ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application for managing vinyl record collections. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Local Data

Your vinyl collection, wishlist, ratings, and app settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export it.

2.2 Camera Access

Discora requests camera access solely for barcode scanning to look up records. Images captured by the camera are processed on-device in real time and are not stored, transmitted, or shared.

2.3 Purchase Data

In-app purchases are processed by RevenueCat. We receive anonymized transaction identifiers to verify your subscription or purchase status. We do not collect or store any payment card details.

2.4 Error Reports

We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to improve app stability. These reports do not contain personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

3. Third-Party Services

Discora integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Discogs API: When you search for or scan a record, we query the Discogs database to retrieve album metadata and market data. Discogs receives the search query but no personal information. Use of Discogs data is governed by Discogs' Privacy Policy.
  • RevenueCat: Processes in-app purchases and manages subscription status. RevenueCat receives anonymized user identifiers. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
  • Sentry: Receives anonymous error and crash data for debugging and performance monitoring. Governed by Sentry's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your collection data is stored locally on your device in an SQLite database. We do not have access to your collection, wishlist, or personal catalog data. No data is stored on external servers.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the app or using the "Clear Data" option in Settings.
  • Opt out of error reporting by disabling analytics in the app settings.
  • Contact us at guztaluz@gmail.com with any questions about your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Discora is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Discora after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
